I consider myself very lucky; I can't think of a more enjoyable way to earn a living than being an architectural photographer - and that's what I've been doing for the past 30 years.
My first job in photography was at the Building Research Station and that's what got me started in architecture and construction.
After that, I was the staff photographer on Building Magazine, the leading UK construction magazine. While there I photographed a multitude of building and construction projects by most of the leading British and American architects. Commissions included site work as well as finished buildings and I picked up seven international photojournalism awards along the way.
For the past 15 years I have run my own company, Archimage, working on UK and international projects and specialising in architecture, interiors and construction photography.
But that's probably enough about me, have a look at my pictures and make up your own mind.

A consequence of being an architectural photographer for many years is that you accumulate a lot of pictures. From straw houses to prisons to nuclear power stations, exteriors and interiors, I have covered all manner of building types.
If you're after an image of a particular building type, there's a good chance I've got something in my archives that will fit the bill. Archive film images can be provided as digital files from our high resolution Imacon film scanner.
Likewise, if you like any of the images you see on this website, we can provide them as high resolution files.
